D'après Peter Gabriel, il a pensé en écoutant cette chanson à l 'histoire du scaphandre et du papillon, un homme atteint de "locked-in Syndrome" qui ne peut plus bouger autre chose qu'un oeil et s'en sert pour communiquer. Je ne connais pas le sens qu'a voulu lui donner Win Butler et Arcade Fire. Peut être on en saura plus lors du "song swap".
